Lifts & Ski Passes

Lifts & terrain

Tukino operates two rope tows, the Whangaehu and Aorangi tows, which service an area of approximately 50 hectares. There is plenty of wide, open terrain that is perfect for skiers and riders wanting to experience the freedom of a smaller field. Advanced skiers will find ample opportunity to experience some quality New Zealand snow at the top of the Tukino ski field, where challenges include snow-filled gullies, chutes and drop-offs.

Lift & season passes

An All Day pass costs $50 for an adult, $40 for a student (11-18 years, or full-time students over 18 years) and $30 for a child (5-10 years). Infants (aged 4 and under) are free.

Tukino also has great deals on season passes up until 31st May each year. An Earlybird season pass costs $180 for an adult, $140 for a student and $100 for a child. Prices increase from 1st June.

Holders of Mount Ruapehu season passes can ski half price midweek at Tukino – a day pass will cost adults $25, students $20 and children $15

There are also ‘Ski and Stay’ packages available at Tukino for those who want to make use of the club lodge accommodation on the mountain.
