Great Lake Trail Shuttles, Transport & Transfer
For a hassle-free ride, the Great Lake Trail is best experienced with all your bike shuttle logistics pre-arranged. Contact any of these operators below to arrange your pick up and drop off times. Many riders have said that the water taxi transfer from the end of Waihaha to Kinloch was the highlight of their trip and a perfect way to end the first leg of the Great Lake Trail.
Here's an idea of the shuttle logistics invoved.
Day 1 :
Park your vehicle in Kinloch and arrange for your shuttle to drop you off at the start of the Waihaha section. Arrange for your water taxi to pick you up at the end of the Waihaha section and drop you off at Kinloch.
Day 2 :
Park your vehicle in Kinloch and arrange for your shuttle to drop you off at the start of the K2K section. If you are relatively fit, you can continue biking the W2K. Arrange for your shuttle to pick you up at Whakaipo Bay and drop you off at your vehicle in Kinloch.
Day 3 :
If you prefer to break your ride into 3 days, park your vehicle at Kinloch and ride the W2K to Whakaipo Bay. Arrange for your shuttle to pick you up at Whakaipo Bay and drop you off at your vehicle in Kinloch.
