A kaleidoscope of colours greets visitors to the Lava Glass sculpture garden. Opened in early-2014, the garden features more than 600 glass sculptures handcrafted by master glass artist Lynden Over and his glassblowing team. In 2018 the Lava Glass sculpture garden was awarded the national 'garden of significance' status by the New Zealand Gardens Trust. Like a traditional garden, this sculpture garden is always changing. Every year glass artist Lynden Over adds a new sculpture.
