You will find boats for hire, the iconic Taupo floatplane, grand old launches, gliding yachts, para-sailing, power boats and more to make your day on the lake a memorable one.

Visit this sheltered harbour and marina and you know immediately that this is the lake edge centre for tourism. The Taupo Marina is home to storage, boat launching, boat facilities and maintenance and is accessible from the north side of the harbour.

The tranquil and scenic harbour is a great place for a coffee with friends or a romantic picnic for two. On Saturdays, visit the eclectic outdoor Riverside Market just up the path on the Waikato River.
