TONGARIRO ERUPTOR (40 mins)
This could be your once in a lifetime opportunity to fly over an active volcano! Take in the stunning views over Great Lake Taupo (the biggest crater of them all), and Lake Rotoira on route to the majestic Mt. Tongariro. Witness the thermal and volcanic activity from Te Maari Crater as it happens! Take to the sky for a bird’s eye view of thundering Huka Falls and stunning Great Lake Taupo; one of the world’s largest crater lakes. Live the excitement of soaring above majestic Tongariro, Ngauruhoe and Ruapehu Volcanoes. Witness the exceptional scenery rich landscape of this active geothermal region.

FLYING VISIT TO HOBBITON MOVIE SET 3.5hrs)
We begin with a spectacular flight over Lake Taupo, Huka Falls and the geothermal areas. On approach to Hobbiton for landing there are stunning views over the rolling green hills of the surrounding farmland, and the Kaimai Ranges. Enjoy the famous Hobbiton Movie Set tour; your guide will recount fascinating details of how Hobbiton was created. The movie set has been completely rebuilt, as it was seen in the films. Re-board the aircraft for a final birds-eye view over Hobbiton and a picturesque flight back to Taupo.
