Taupo, Turangi & Tongariro Guided Walks
![]() |
There is a choice of guided walks throughout our region which allow you to see the wonderful landscape of changing landscapes and seasons. This is truly an environment swept by nature’s hand, so take a walk through the rainforests and trek the mountain meadows. Take a rest on alpine tussock and gravel plains, or tramp along meandering mountain streams.
Enjoy a guided walking tour to hidden secret lakes, through forests, over pumice shores, and to secluded bays. Along rocky cliffs the views are spectacular over Great Lake Taupo toward towering snowcapped mountains and secluded bays.
Great Lake Taupo walking guides can inform and educate you with their local history and knowledge.
