IT’S IN THE BAG is about to hit the road with $55,000 worth of prizes

It’s in the Bag series 5 heads down the middle of the North Island with the first show kicking off in Pukekohe on the 2nd December.
A total of twelve live shows will be recorded in local halls with a Grand Final show scheduled for April 2013 .
“We are shooting 12 episodes so you have plenty of chances to be in to win!” say’s Stacey Morrison.
Hosts Pio Terei and Stacey Morrison will also be introducing a new audience game in this series with one lucky person at each show joining the stage to finish a well known Maori song. They’ll be helped along by Pio and Stacey and if they get it right they’ll have the chance at a bag or the money.
“I love that New Zealand’s small town’s hide such great talent! I totally get a run for my money.” said Pio.
The prizes in Series 5 of It’s in the Bag are bigger than ever thanks to New Zealand company UBUY who are supplying over $40,000 worth of goods ranging from televisions, laptops and fridges to trampolines and pool tables!
“We’re thrilled that UBUY have come aboard with It’s in the Bag with such amazing prizes. It will really create a huge buzz in the small towns to see people walk away with great prizes or cash” said Producer Libby Hakaraia.

“It’s in the Bag is an iconic New Zealand Television show which we have revived and it still works!”
“Selwyn Toogood proved that a good idea doesn’t have an expiry date! It just gets bigger with every series we do. So we are determined to show the towns a great time and then share that on TV with the rest of NZ” said Libby Hakaraia
The popularity of the It's In The Bag is that it is a format that has stood the test of time. A short question and answer followed by a simple negotiation for a prize.  “It's now a bi-lingual show where te reo and waiata give it a new and inclusive Kiwi personality. We know Selwyn Toogood’s whanau are pleased with the show and we're proud to be able to protect and grow his legacy." said Director Tainui Stephens.
