Its that time to start thinking IronKidz 12, Sunday 26th February 2012 is the date, the venue is Taupo and it’s the place to be…

What's it all about?

The IronKidz Triathlon is all about participation. It's about getting out there, having a go and achieving a personal best and having a heap of FUN.   

To complete the event, competitors complete a swim, following by a bike ride, followed by a run. You can enter on your own - which means you swim, bike and run (in that order) - or as part of a team of three, which means you swim or bike or run.

You are also able to enter as a team of two. If you enter as a team of two, one of you will do two of the three legs (swim, bike, run). Your choice!

Event starts 9.00 (registration for out of town competitors and late entries from 7.30)

A fun triathlon for 8-15 year olds with 3 categories: 8-10, 11-15 and for the more serious athletes - Elite split into 10-12 and 13-15.  All entrants will receive a medal and free T-shirt (if enter before 17 Feb) and you will be able to download a free copy of your certificate after race day.  There is a school participation prize and again this is split into 8-10 and 11-15. Loads of spot prizes and trophies for the Elite section.
