The Lake Taupō region continues to develop new accommodation and good sized conference venues, with over 20 facilities now catering for this market. The venues attract a good client base from New Zealand's corporate market and we are targeting our Australian corporate market to hold large conferences, intimate meetings and top class incentive weekends. Seventeen conference venues are located in or near the township of Taupō, three of which have conference rooms capable of hosting 650, plus we offer an Events Centre that can seat 1200 people. The Turangi and Ruapehu regions have a further five conference venues. There is huge range of accommodation venues available, from hotels to resorts to luxury lodges, chateaux and motel style properties.

A conference in Taupō can take full advantage of the Trout Fishing Turangi and Lake Taupo, skiing and other popular pursuits that the region is renowned for. Taupō also offers activities such as boat cruises, kayaking, jet boating, rafting, sailing, tandem skydiving, bungy jumping, 4WD motorbikes, car racing, and golf galore!
