Q. How many golf courses are there in Taupo?

Taupō boasts of several golf courses, the famous Wairakei International, Taupo Golf Club's Centennial and Tauhara Golf Courses, Wairakei Resort's 9-hole Golf Course and the Kinloch Golf Course designed by Jack Nacklaus. At the southern end of the lake the Turangi Golf Club is gaining a reputation as an attractive course and a little further afield the Taumarunui Golf Course, known as the best country course in New Zealand. At the northern end of the lake we have the Mangakino Golf Club, a flat undulating 9 Hole easy walking course with picturesque views of Lake Maraetai and the surrounding forests.
