Quite simply, we are so lucky to have River Vineyard and River Restaurant in the lake area. This gorgeous estate ticks all the boxes. Beautifully designed interiors/ exteriors reflecting the property. We were seated in the relaxed dining room with a lovely fire on a cold winter's night after skiing all day. Our extremely professional waitress' s service would rival any top- end restaurant in our major cities.
The talented chef was creating international high- end calibre cuisine with locally found produce that frankly both surprised us and delighted us to know this hidden retreat was in our area. I strongly suggest taking a tiny detour off the main highway for an hour or two to savour lunch or dinner at this unique spot.
